It was metal. The owners had this large metal thing they shoved into her cage a few months ago. Yuki had scraped off pieces and ingested them before we took her home. Immediately after we got home, I removed that "perch" and gave her 2 wooden ones.

that's not a perch sometimes i just wonder what people are thinking... or are they not?!
