I am so sorry for your loss. Parakeets have this big spot in my heart, I find them adorable. When Pippin died, it hurt me so much I just couldn't talk about it and still can't even think about getting another 'keet. There's just no way to replace Pippin. I know how you're feeling right now.

Very sad - how are the rest?

I think the only thing that is a blessing & a curse for birds is that they don't seem to suffer too long. I know i'd be devastated if it was Laker.
