Unhappy We lost our little Puchi

On Sunday morning we woke to find our Amazon green parrot lying lifeless on the bottom of her cage (I left another post under "Amazon" in this forum).

Just the night before she was lively, eating normally and happy as she ever was. I know we can't bring her back now but I feel so empty without her in my life. I feel to blame. Perhaps we could have done something differently. The sadness is overwhelming.

REST IN PEACE PUCHI.....WE LOVE YOU.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Please don't blame yourself and be glad that she had such a wonderful life with you! Fly free, Puchi.

So sorry to hear about little Puchi!!!
Words are so inadequate when it comes to expressing sorrow for such a loss!
We've all been there and will be there again....so we know the depth of your grief.
Do not blame yourself for something so out of your control.
Bless you and little Puchi...fly free!

I know how you feel. We lost our beloved canary on Monday morning. He was fine the day before, but when I uncovered him on Monday, he was sitting on the floor with his head resting on the bottom perch. He came onto my hand and I put him on a high perch, he seemed to be okay. By the time we got breakfast and his treat dish was ready, my husband took it in and hollered at me. He was gone. We buried him on my great-grandfather's old homestead under a lilac tree. The hurt doesn't go away, and yes, there is guilt. We can only think that we gave our little feathered friends as good a life as we could for as long as we could. Recrimminations to ourselves don't help. We can think of our little ones as flying free over the Rainbow Bridge, singing happy songs. God bless.

Please accept my heart felt sympathy for the passing of your precious Puchi. I'm sure she was very loved, and died knowing you loved her.
