Unhappy Prince Died :(

Prince, my 'tiel, was only 5 or 6 years old. He was fine last night, but he was lying on the bottom of his cage this morning. He was perfectly healthy as far as we know, his death was a mystery. My GCC is going to get a new friend later this week, althouth no bird will ever replace Prince. *We All Miss You, Buddy*

Fly free prince. I'm so very sorry. I wouldn't be to quick to bring in a new birdie - give it a few weeks and please quarantine if you do. It wouldn't be fair to either if your Green Cheek has whatever killed your tiel. If you cannot have a necropsy done on the tiel then I would definitely wait some. In the meantime we might be able to uncover the Mystery with everyones expirience.

Sorry to hear about your little Prince. Please use precaution when you bring your new birdie home and keep him quarantined for 30 days to prevent any further tragedy.

Thanks, you guys. I will definately quarintine the new bird when I get one, and I'll see if I can have a necropsy done on Prince. If I can't do that, I'll bring Chicklit to the vet to make sure he isn't sick. Thank you so much!

Awwwww I'm so sorry to hear about Prince. It's never easy when we loose a dear pet. How are your other birds doing? I bet they are missing Prince too.
