My Princess

Princess was a mama's girl from the beginning. I guess that's why I'm so worried about the bird problem I have now. She would let me pet her and stroke her from the beginning. About a year ago my window broke, and before I could get it fixed, she acted strangely. I believe now that she caught a cold when the window broke, and acted strangely. She was puffed out, couldn't stay on a perch or balance herself, stood on one foot. She died after 2 days, and I've never cried so hard in my life. I tried to get her to a vet in time, but she held out as long as she could.

So R.I.P Princess, Mama loves you.

P.S. What's really sweet is my father dug a hole for her little box on his property and made a cross for her. <3

i am sorry for your loss.
a major problem with birds is their instincts remain strong even in captivity and they are able to hide illness for weeks upuntill their final hours, princess was more than likely sick for a while before the window broke, sigms to look for in the future include strange coloured stools (poo) and behaviour such as rocking or trying to get close to heat sources
i am deeply sorry for your loss
