curley

i recently lost my pride and joy, curly, a galah found by a friend as a baby with a shattered wing, no skin on her scalp, severe facial swelling and large portions of her beak missing. i painstakingly nursed her back to health and baught her a companion.
she spent every waking hour on my shoulder but died after only two and a half years, this not only proved painful for me but also her companion who plucked all his feathers and began self mutalation. he has since stopped injuring himself and his feathers have grown back. curly is now buried beside his aivary with a mango tree planted on that site in hope that through it she may continue to live.
WILL NEVER FORGET YOU CURLEY ! ! !

Im so sorry for your loss... It really doesn't matter how long a certain animals in our life, they become part of the familly, and it's always hard. I'm glad his companion is doing better, too .

You're very welcome. I've lost alot of pets, and i know how hard it can be. It was so great of you to take her in and nurse her back to health, and improver her life while she was with you. it sounds like you had a wonderful few years together

I'm so sorry for your loss...it sounded like you made her last days very loveable and enjoyable. I know the pain you're going through since I have lost my precious cockatiel for 8 years just last month...I wish you the best and may she be with you always.
