Yes, Your Bird Went To "Heaven"

If you're wondering why I have this username, I have it because I came here specifically to tell you all my story...but also to browse through your wonderful forum! I feel like a stalker always looking but never posting anything. haha.

Anywho, this is going to sound really weird. I've had six months to reflect upon it though & decided to put my experience to good use.

Six months ago I was hit by a car. I was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Five hours later, I was pronounced alive.

I had died. Crossed over to the other side. And before coming back, I saw a lot of stuff I never imagined could be possible. This is a Bird forum, I wont pollute it with off topic details. Soooo in short, I just wanted to let you know that your birds do go to "heaven". (I put the quotation marks around heaven because when I was there you don't really communicate with english.)

If you've ever lost a bird, just know goodbye doesnt mean forever.

I hope I don't attacked by a bunch of atheists for posting this.

...? I am telling the truth. The only thing I left out was a majority of the experience, religion/death is a sensitive subject...I dont want to offend ANYONE.

Ugh my back is killing me.

peace!

I have watched documentries about people who have died and been revived again, and claimed to have seen and experienced things. It's a very interesting topic. I know a couple of people who have 'died' but are still alive today, although they have not experienced the same things as far as I know.

Did you see birds there?

I've been pronounced dead so many times it's not even funny. I didn't get any interesting experiences while dead though. And though I never saw any birds I have faith they go somewhere nice.

I agree withh all of the above lolss...I consider myself more spiritual than religious so I do have strong faith in life after death and I know that these non human language speaking living things probably go to heaven cuz they don't do any bad deeds...they do what they are brought to do...weird huh?

talking abt life after death: Signals is a really good short book...someones real experiences with their special someone who committed suicide and sent signals to them...!!!!

I had a car accident, too - almost twenty years ago. It was on a bridge and when I tried to get out of the car, I backed up on foot in the rain to avoid getting hit by the driver spinning and trying to get away - I stepped right off the edge of the bridge and fell over twenty feet onto a river bank.

It sounds crazy, but if I had to tell you what happened I would say that I remember being slowly let down by two hands.

I know, beyond what I can articulate, that Divine Intervention took place.

I feel I have experienced those Angel Messages in my life and many times where animals are concerned. God made them too and loves them also - I have no doubt.

I believe without a doubt that our pets go to a better place. When my dog died i was devastated. I buried her under a tree in my yard. I was looking out the window at her grave and saw a white light coming out of the ground where i just buried her. I felt peace for her,i knew she went to heaven and i plan on seeing her again when my time is up. I still miss her.

As an atheist, I'm a bit confused by this comment. Are atheists, as a group, known as being "attackers"? Why would an atheist attack you any more than someone from any other religion that doesn't believe in the concept of "heaven"? I'm honestly not meaning this in a confrontational way, I just feel bad that apparently we (and I don't hang out with any other atheists, I just mean "we" in the sense of people with the same beliefs I have) have some sort of reputation of being mean, or intolerant?

(I mean, it's not like we prowl around in packs. Srsly.)

Honestly, I just enjoy knowing that the same freedom that gives me the right to my beliefs also gives you the right to yours!

Now, with that said, I find your story fascinating, and I'm glad you posted it. I'm sure it was an amazing experience, and I appreciate you sharing it with all of us!
