Bill The Budgie

Bill the boy budgie as i used to call him, was my first ever budgie! He was with me for 5 years

Till one day i noticed that he was looking really fat
http://i622.photobucket.com/albums/t...5/RIMG0005.jpg
he stopped flying i guess to this but he still was ok he just couldn't fly

About a month or 2 later he got much worse and we took him to the vet, he had bactiria in his croop and he had to take 3 types of medicine he hated.

After about three days after the vet he was just getting worse and worse till the last night i got him out, for the last time!

He sat on my and just looked at me, i was so sad as he had been my best friend for 5 years and could cheer me up when ever i was down, so dad picked Bill up of my shoulder to put him back in the cage.

Bill just jumped back down and ran up to me and kissed me.

The next day i woke up early to find my dad sitting at the side of the bed i looked at him confused, and i knew what had happened.

He is now buried in my back yard with a small head stone made of hardwood saying 'Bill 2004 - 2009'. I also made a box of memories with all the things he would love to play with and his toys which now sits on my bookshelf.

I missed him so much i couldn't sleep in my room where he slept with me for a month

So sorry for your loss. It is always so hard when we lose a beloved feathered friend.

I am so sorry for the loss of Bill. You both were lucky to have had eachother. I am happy you loved him so much, do you know how rare that is? Most people never take budgies to the vet, let alone keep them after the novelty has worn off. Good job on the wonderful care and love you gave Bill.

Be Blessed.
