Lady has passed on....
I do not know what happened but Lady (pineapple Green cheek) has passed. I found her on the bottom on Friday. Toby is very lonely now. She was not showing any signs of illness that morning. Who knows but we will not have he necropsied due to our wonderful budget in this economy. Her and Toby have been out doors all summer. No sign of injury.
Thats two birds this year - first of any but the other was the bourks that broke her neck in the Aviary. Something must have panicked her. Every one else is doing great in the Aviary. I do not want to get anymore small birds that cannot cohabitate in the Aviary so if anyone in Ohio nearby knows someone who might be able to make a good friend for Tobe who can probably be tame again and does say a few gravely words then I may consider rehoming him. He either needs buddies, a mate, or someone with allot of patience and one on one time...most of which I do not have at the moment. I have the patience but not the time with all the current fids.....Toby is a regular Green Cheek conure about two.

aww Lori Im sorry to hear about Lady = ( I understand about not doing the necropsy as well.
If you do end up re-homing Toby I hope he finds an amazing home. Ill keep you, Toby and your flock in my thoughts.
