Hello, wanted to let everyone know about a problem we faced at birdboard.com Sometime today dec 22nd between 4am and 11am pst the database craashed and the last 2 days of posts, and recently registred new members were lost. With that said we are working on recovering and more of the things lost and getting things back together.

If you entered into the christmas photocontest and you added submitted your photos in the last 2 days you will have to resubmit them.

Easiest way is to login to http://www.BirdBoard.com select add photos from
the navigation panel located in the upper right and add your photo to the photocontest area. http://birdboard.com/album/uploadphoto.php

We are also looking for a couple new moderators with vast bird knowledge
and a helpful spirit. if your interested feel free to email me at

If you have any ideas, concerns, or suggestions, about the good, bad and etc...please talk to me, I am very easy going guy and only want the best for the site and make it huge success, I want and would and love to hear what people think so I can better everyones experience... I'd rather people tell me directly than hold back. I can't read minds so PLEASE speak up!

I am investigating what was the cause of the problem as well so it doesnt happen again.
