To explain what happened is what 3 days ago, heck I don't remember it feels like its been a week we were working on some new things and were running into some filesystem errors which lead me to question the hard drives and sure enough it was on its way out. Immediately ordered a new hard drive to start a datarecovery / copy process bit by bit over to a new drive not knowing what the extent of problem would be... or how much or how little would be recovered... We had full backups of the databases and critical files but didnt have backups of the attachments and other fun stuff that has accumilated over the years... After 2.5 long days of a slow process of copying over the drives, and 687 dollars in expenses, afterhour location tech fee's, 2 new drives, added backup system... we are back online....
I also want to thank those who stepped up and helped out with donations to help offset some of the expenses. It really helped take some the sting out of the ill timed expenses...
