Goliath my fish

Here is my prized fishie Goliath. He is in a 55 gallon long tank. That is bog wood in the back ground and some potted plant that I ordered (no idea what it is called). LOL

The guppy that lives in there is named David......

Goliath is about the size of your hand (stretched out) he is BIG!

Beautiful! I have an Albino Oscar in a 37 gallon tall tank, about 9" long. He was about 3" when I got him in Feb. 2004.

Aww!

I'm so glad that he's in a huge tank too instead of being stuffed into a little ten gallon aquarium like a lot of goldfish are.

I own a petstore. So even if I wanted to stuff him in a 10 gallon (not that I would) I would not sell many big fish tanks that way!

People buy what you use. Large cages, large tanks, lots of toys.

I have Angel, a Red/white/blue Beta fish in a large clear vase with a plant on top of a 1925 Radiobar. He is mostly white and I have had him about 2 yrs. He is my third-Swish was purple and lived in a vase in my candle chandelier for three years, Valentino was turquoise and also lived 3 yrs in the same vase. Ladybird's cage was next to the cabinet until recently and I used to find the Angel and Ladybird looking at each other. Now Angel looks at Holiday cards and Ladybird looks at TV, lol.

I hate seeing animals crammed into small enclosures when they should be in something bigger. I'm sure most people don't know that goldfish can grow to be huge and that they can't be kept in little bowls. But if you have access to the information, why not use it?

I'm just glad that this fish isn't stuck in a bowl and that he's happy in a big tank like that.
