The one at the pet store was said to be 2 years old. Is that considered an adult? I didn't ask them anything about it so don't where it came from or why. We had a bunny once. It was sold to us as a dwarf rabbit that wouldn't get very big. (I did not do my research on bunnies before we bought it - BIG mistake!!) IT got HUGE!!!! And very territorial around it's cage! We were all afraid of it and ended up giving it to a friend that had a soft spot for bunnies.

So do you have Turbo potty trained? How in the world do you potty train a rabbit?? LOL What does Friday think of Turbo?

Yes, 2 years old is considered an Adult.
Most Rabbits at Pet stores are Dutch, Rex, Mini Rex...etc...rabbits..
They are ALMOST always labeled as Dwarfs. Just like the rabbits at my local pet store now, they are labeled Dwarf Rabbits and all the buns are Dutch Bunnies. I told them that and they said they would changed the sign. Obviously they just get the babies from various ppl and they also have no clue of what they are. Breeder Bunnie babies are the best. They have been with ppl that actually want to pay attention to them since they were just a few days old. When I bred rabbits my female was so use to me that I would handle the babies from day 1...All the babies were SO SWEET! and loved to have Human Attention.

There are lots of different ways to Potty Train rabbits. My Turbo has his own little litterbox filled with shredded Newspaper and we taught him to use that. He obviously has his accidents but, still does use it OFTEN!...
