Yeah, Thanks isoscelestri thats exactly what I meant! I have had salt water aquariums before I had birds and it was a fun but expensive hobby (had to sell it though because we moved :[) Okay I am NOT going to keep these animals Just for entertainment purposes! I want something that is interesting, and I will take care of it well!!!! And what is bird keeping if not entertainment? Cause more than half of you would be bored out of your minds without your fids! And what are friends if not companionship, and why do we need companions? BEcause we get bored... and friends make us happy! Birds make us happy therefore it's entertainment... because making them happy... makes US happy!!!! :)

how about something like scorpions or tarantualas, they are very easy to look after once you have the right setup,i find scorpions more interesting though because they are usually more active than spiders.

Siamese fighting fish (betta splendin) are a beautiful, colourful, mesmerising fish and they are quite easy to care for, if given the right set up. Kept ALONE in a small tank with a filter, something to hide in, some pebbles and your set! Fed 5 bloodworms a day and cleaned once a week. I would literally sit for hours and watch/ photograph my fishies. They are pretty smart for fish too. Plus Ashling enjoyed watching them :)
They caught ich and died though :(
