Poor baby!

Last night at dinnertime I heard a tremendous bang and went to check the doggies, who were outside... they all seemed fine so I guessed they'd knocked over a chair or something. An hour later we realized that Flea managed to slice a big gash in his foreleg, blood staining his fur. It was very deep and there was a flap of flesh... I'm guessing he tried to jump up on the roof of their shelter and cut it on a nail or the corrugated iron roof. He was rushed to the vet to get bandaged up and of course he slept on my bed for the night. Today he went back to be put under and get the wound looked at and stitched up. Now he has a blue bandage that matches his collar (my boy is very color coordinated). He's very drowsy from the anesthetics and is now lying in his bed, all dopey and clumsy. He is such a sook though and is loving the attention!

Thanks tabooh! He's recovering well, but doesn't enjoy taking his tablets!
