Just so you know, my parents ARE getting the puppy my dad is holding, no matter what... that is Moxie, their dog. They are picking her up Friday, on their return trip home from their vacation. I was just concerned she wasn't a purebred and that as she ages they may be made aware of that and then be disappointed. However, I think they will be too in love with her then for it to matter.

As for me, I just don't know if I could handle being told I'm getting a pup and then not having it happen, if she should change her mind, that's all.

Talking Introducing...

Well, picking the brains of my friends has finally paid-off!!
Red has come up with what I think is a perfect name for my potential new puppy-girl.

Introducing...

PAISLEY!

I LOVE that name! And she's beautiful. Who cares if she isn't purebred? But she looks like she is to me.

The folks she is with now are calling her Bandit, I assume due to the mask type marking across her eyes.

It's funny that Red came up with it (the name), since it is my favorite pattern & used to be part of my nick name in high school (Paisley-Jai). I'm just glad she thought of it before I settled for something else!

Good Ole Red to the rescue!

Paisley thanks you, Auntie Red!

If they are purebred then she should have already talked to you about the "papers". My parents used to bred toy poddles and it was something that every new owner got but a lot of people advertise as purebred and do not actually have papers or give you some line about getting them. You should ask about the papers because if she is legit it would not be a issue.
Though due to their cuteness does it really matter hehe?

I love it. Thank you Red. I have been racking my brain, and since Mabird had to help me name Sterling, it was getting to be a hard job!!!! Just gorgeous.

Red face I'm such a softee...

Ok, the long traditional Shih-tzu style is O-U-T for Paisley... too much up-keep for this 1 woman indoor farm!

Here is the "hairstyle" I'd like to keep her in:

These are the bows I've purchased(I'm so embarassed! )

2 of the K13 in this pic

2 of the U8 in this pic

The other bows I ordered were from a different seller, who's ad wouldn't let me copy the pics, so here's the link & item # for those:

H9, H12, & Q9 one of each

Boutique **NO-SLIP** Baby Hair Bow Barrette SNAP CLIP! - eBay (item 250425525672 end time May-25-09 15:41:08 PDT)

How cute is she gonna look!?!?!?

OOOOhhh!! And, I ordered these for my new lil' sis, Moxie:

Papers mean nothin and are worthless unless your breeding and showing. So who cares. Half the time with backyard breeders the papers they do have mean nothing anyhoo. Heck, half or more of the puppy mill puppies in pet stores being sold for outrageous prices have forged papers. You never really know if your getting purebred unless you go to a REPUTABLE breeder who raises to better the breed and personal enjoyment in the hobby. SO just LOVE your puppy for who she is - YOUR CUTE COMPANION FRIEND!! and BTW, cute bows!
