WELL crap!
My female Bloodhound climbed an eight foot fence to get in with her old buddy. Now I would have expected him to try but he is not a climber and I can keep him in a four foot fence no problem. Now this wouldnt be a problem as they are always together....except for now....as she is in heat....and its her first heat..........and we were TRYING to plan this correctly. I still cannot believe SHE climbed the fence. And SHE was not happy with the effects of that climb, but alas its too late now.

I figured it out - she climbed over the indoor wall. She had to jump pretty hard to reach the top of a smooth wall. But my camera was pulled down and chewed up. Unfortunatly the timing is perfect. She is in second week

She is big and healthy but she will only be a year old this month. This was SO not in the plan. I worry most about Eclampsia but I feed her a high quality meat based dog food with no by products.
