My Water Hound

I had friends over yesterday that came swimming. We're all out in the water playing and all and everyone is helping me keep an eye on Scarlet because I had her outside running around playing too. Well she kept whining so i swam over to the dock to love on her. She kept crouching down, and everyone knows that Scarlet's legs are what, 1/2 inch long anyway! So I pulled her into the water with me and kept my hands on her at all times but she was paddling her little heart out. When I saw she was getting tired, I waded to the shore and let her swim about 5 feet by her self. She's a good swimmer despite her body shape now. So I go back out with my friends and they said, she's back on the dock. My fear is her falling in. NOT JUMPING IN! And that is what she done! When I got to her, she pushed with all her might and done the perfect doggie belly flop! I was there, she never went under, and she had the biggest doggy grin on her face! I picked her back up and put her on the dock and watched her. She doggied dove in again to me! We done this for about 10 minutes. Now when we go out, she can't go on the docks w/o a leash unless I'm in the water to catch her little butt! Oh she was funny. No photos, sorry, but I was IN THE WATER! I already lost an ipod to the water,,,I value my camera too much to chance a photo of her diving! That little diva had herself a good time last night.

Oh, I can just picture her now... I wish I could've been there! It must have felt so good to her to jump in & cool off!!

Maybe next time you could give someone on shore the camera so we could see the little darling swimming

And get my fluffy butt in the photo in a swim suit for the world to see? I don't think so mabird! Lol
