Adorable chins! I love chinchillas, obviously and have 100+ of my own. I will have to get some pictures.

Wow, are you a chin breeder? That is a TON of chins. I used to breed them, to keep not to sell.

Yes, I am a breeder. I have about 30 pairs of breeding chins, and then I have about 60 rescues that I obviously don't breed, but I fell in love with them, and so did my husband, so we are keeping them

I never breed chins that I would not be able to keep, and only breed for show standards. There is a chinchilla show here in February and I am super excited to show my chins. I specialize in ebony and violet, and am starting to work with tans. Look at this super cute chinchilla commercial:

I LOVE your chinchillas! I had one years ago. She was such a doll. I'd love to have another someday. They're just so adorable! I love how they kind of hop around. So precious!

That commercial is so cute. I rescued three! Not 60 but they were in bad shape. They all had parasites (coccidia) and they were extremely sick and going to the fur farm to be coats. I still have one Candy but Andy and Sandy only lived about a year due to so much sickness. They were in SMALL cages, breeding runs and he let them breedback. But they were happy with me for a year a least.

What happened to some if yours that you rescued?

I absolutley LOVE Ebony's. I have alway always wanted one. That is my dream chin.

We build them there very own chin room so they can run around and we also made the cages for them. There are three built out of closets, they are GREAT!!!!

Chinchillas are wonderful little furballs! I love the name Silly :D
