Anne's 2 sister ratties!

Hello everyone!

I adopted 2 ratties a couple years ago (they're getting old) and their names are Spooky and Boopsy, 2 girls. Boopsy is a nice somewhat trusting rattie that likes her tail rubbed. Spooky on the other hand, likes to pick fights and doesn't like being touched whatsoever. She's super feisty. But there are both adorable little ratties that love to eat burnt bread, soy yoggie (with me), and gerbil food.

I make them hammocks/toys/etc. and it's great when they're both laying in one on the second floor of their cage and Spooky will start chewing the string that the hammock hangs from and suddenly, FOOM! Both of them fall over and their facial expressions are like "WHAT JUST HAPPENED?!" Yes, very adorable little creatures they are.

Spooky is the one on the right. She'll try to tug the spoon away from me so that I can't touch her. Boopsy is the blurry one on the left. Very polite and modest compared to Spooks.

Hope you enjoy! Of course, more pictures of my animal family to come! I'm thinking tortoise next!
<3 Anne

omg another rat person yay! Your ladies are beautiful, I love the black and whites. Are they both hooded?
I have two boys ;) A black berkshire and a beige hooded.
I had a hammock/ bed making session with my friend yesterday who has 4 rats reserved at a breeders... she is getting a dalmation from the first litter to be sold in Australia!

I think I just have plain ol' feeder rats. Ha! I went to a pet store, like I do about once a week, and saw em'. Asked to hold one, he was so calm and took right to me. The guy working there said "not many people come in looking for rats as pets, most turn into snake food" There was no way I could let him become some snakes dinner! So I brought him home, went back and bought a second the next day so he would have "company" while I was at work :)
