How lucky Sarge is to have you come into his life. I have quite a few abused and neglected birds myself. I cannot for the life of me figure out why people will do this to a bird or well any animal. It breaks my heart. Thank you for sharing this story.

This story made me cry, partially because I can't understand how anyone could be so heartless, and partly because it made me think of my own OWA, Evie. I can tell you firsthand, Orange Wings are the sweetest, most loving,funny, intelligent birds. My Evie is the love of my life, I couldn't imagine my life without hearing her voice everyday and laughing at her 'attacking' every one of her toys and growling. When you get your hands on that poor baby, give him all the love in your heart. I am so happy that he has found a happy home with you.
