parrotlets and mirrors
There is an awful lot of differing opinion out there on the web when it comes to parrots and mirrors in general and even more of a divide when it comes to parrotlets and mirrors in particular.
Can I get some feedback here as to whether or not mirrors are suitable in parrotlet cages or not? Many thanks, -doc |

i agree i would not put a mirror in a cage with any bird, as they tend to fall for the reflection and spend all their time with the other bird they can see. i just looked after a cockatiel for a week and he has two mirrors in his cage, a good mirror and a bad mirror, and spends all his time being nice to the good mirror and attacking the bad mirror, very sad to watch, hes been doing this for over seventeen years.
