parrotlet escape
I came home today to a free little parrotlet. He was on top of his cage looking so proud and happy. One of the doors on his flight cage was open? They are the slide up type, usually they shut on there own but it was slightly slanted and it stayed open somehow. The cage has 2 openings in front which I feed and water through and the one on the side which I dont use and this was the one that was open. Also its only me and my husband( no chlidren) so I'm confident he opened the door on his own. I know this happens often with larger parrots but this little parrotlet opened what feels to me like it would be to heavy for him. Has this ever happened to anyone?

Happens all the time so Put clips or wire on them so they cant open them.
