Hello there, I just recently purchased a celestial olive green male parrotlet, I was wondering how long before he will step into my hand? I can put my hand in the cage and he is quite content. Is it normal for him to chirp quite a bit when I leave the room? I know he was with his sister in the pet store, and it has only been four days. I bought a good sized cage from the pet store and the little guy escaped one night? Why? any information would be great.
