twiching wing?

I'm not sure what happened, but for the last day or two my bird's right wing only has kind of had a twitch and he continues to lift it up a little as if it is irritating him. Is this serious and any idea what could have happened? Should I take him to the vet?

If in doubt, seek avian vet advice.

I have not heard of this in parrotlets, so I have no advice to give.
