Wow, I just gave my birds a new treat...

I just purchased some Beak Appetit and they devoured it! One of my parrotlets is very picky, the other eats everything. They did not leave the bowl until this treat was gone. Has anyone else tried it for their parrotlets?

I went and bought some last week after seeing it mentioned on this board and my green cheek conure loves it! I still give him fresh fruits and veggies as well as a small helping of whatever we're having for dinner, but Beak Appetit makes it a lot easier to add nutritious variety to Casanova's diet. I tried the Caribbean Crunch flavor... which one did your fids go nuts for?

I recently ordered some Beak Appetit. It's at my mom's house because I'm not home for deliveries. I can't wait to try it. I,too, bought it because it was metioned here. I bought the sampler. I'm glad to hear your fids liked it.

The flavor I made for them was "Cinnamon Sunrise". It smells great. They love it. I also purchased "Nuts for Alfredo", have not tried that yet. I'll let you know!

Hi Sally - My parrotlets love it! There is actually a photo of several parrotlets eating Beak Appetit from a bowl on the package! Very cute. I love watching them eat soft foods, beaks covered with food... then the frantic rush to clean off the beaks! They really love Cinnamon Sunrise the best.

I am hoping my Chipper will eat it. Is it good for them. She picks out her seed from the pellets that I chop up finely. I also add water to hopefully have her get a bit that way. Sally

Try adding some orange juice to the pellets to soften them, my little guys eat pellets but love them softened with juice.
