Hi!
We just got 2 parrotlets today.
Any advice/info is welcome.

Our managerie just keeps growing!
Our 8 sugar gliders, adult rottweiler and new puppy are all rescues.

Congratulations on your new babies!!! I would take them for a vet check-up as soon as you can just to make sure they are healthy. Are they settling in ok? If you have any questions, please ask. I am not an expert and I can only speak from a limited amount of personal experience, but I would love to help whenever I could!

I am sure Joel will be around to chime in about proper full-spectrum lighting...

Hi M5,

I have a headache right now so do me a favor & type in Full Spectrum Lighting in our search feature here and read up on some of our past posts on the subject. If ya still need assistance, I'll be glad to repeat it but a little later today or hopefully tomorrow. Just logged on to check for emergencies but shutting off soon and taking some aspirin. :(

Parrotlets are happy little guys! I'm happy to hear that you just got 2! They make wonderful pets if you plan on hand taming (they are one of the few birds that can be kept in pairs, yet still retain a pet like quality). What kind of parrotlets are they?

Wow, sugar gliders! They are very cute! It's good to know someone's looking out for animals in need! :D

:P Keep up the good work, and goodluck with your new buddies :P
