Hi Paulie! You're pretty cute.

Tell your mom to change your signature. It still says your name is "no name yet." Silly moms, huh?

Haha Pat, they look very alike! Sorry for theifing your name, haha. One thing though is that your Paulie is a very vibrant green. The woman I got my Paulie from said he was going through a molt, and I noticed he does have some pin feathers on his head. But he is also very grey, and she said he gets grey in the winter, and green in the spring. Is this normal? He is not on a very good diet, and I am trying to change that (I gave him fresh foods for the first time today), could that have something to do with it?

I'm guessing food has something to do with it, but you never know- he could have a grayish color by nature. Our Paulie has always been this color- his breeder said he had an unusual amount od blue on his head behind his eyes. And the rest of the blue on him is just stunning. I tease him and ask why he hides it-it's almost all under his wings and between his tail!
He eats very well...I just finished making his "birdie Bread" that should last him a couple of mouths(I freeze them and thaw as needed) They contain corn muffin mix with pellets, corn, baby food sweet potatos, unsweetened applesause, wheat germ, 2 eggs, and egg food. He gets these for breakfast.
He LOVES them.
In the pics below you can see how very blue he is...these were taken after his shower when he's fluffed up.
