I know NOTHING about Parrotlets

This is one type of bird we never had at the petshop I used to work at. Can anyone give me an over-view of them from personal experience? Comparing them to a conure (any conure). Are they more like lovebirds or budgies or conures etc. Any personal experience or overviews of them would be great! Thanks!

They are adorable, colorful, active, feisty and cuddly. They need a large flight cage and lots of toys and swings.

Chipper loves to fly in the house and she loves her playgyms. She is very sweet and funny. She is quiet and loving. She loves bells.

She's my little green buddy.

I have a Mexican Parrotlet which are extremely rare in the U.S. since they are so difficult to breed in captivity. The Mexicans are more laid-back, less feisty than the most common species, the Pacific P'let. I think they're adorable little birds, full of life, very active, affectionate, terrific flyers, a lot of bird in a very little body. Green-rumps and Spectacled are two other less common species, both of which are said to make good pets.
