Happy Hatchday Pics! - Jade Turns 1
Jadie had a wonderful 1st Hatchday Party. Four of my friends came over for snacks and Jade had a full afternoon of socializing and munching on treats (we had cake, she had a pistachio). We took many silly pictures as Jadie flew from one head to another, she was surely enjoying the laughter and attention from everyone. She loves all of her new toys - and more presents are to come. I think we wore her out although she was reluctant to go to bed in her cage by sundown. I think she wanted to sleep on one of our shoulders instead.
We all had feather masks for the sake of celebration. Jade wasn't too sure about those.    Me and Jade. Dinosaur party hats because... well... they're ancestors, right?  No cake or frosting was given to her. Look at her eyeing it tho! she knew she was extra special today!   Jadie entered her second year in style.

I too give all 5 of mine 1 pistachio in their morning food bowl. That is the first thing that all 5 of them pick up first. They luv 'em!

Happy Hatch Day Jadie! Your mom gave you a great party. I would let her host my next birthday party but I don't have birthdays anymore. ;0)

wow, what a party...
 happy hatchday, jade! i love it when people come together to celebrate the birdie birthday... it's so much fun! i tried that at some point, but nobody really wanted to put up with valo's nipping.... nice cake too....

 Thank you for all the wonderful hatchday wishes! Jadie had a really good time and has been in a very good mood lately. I think it might be the wonderful weather and the new friends she has made. I was so happy even they were excited to throw Jadie a little party and I enjoyed sharing with them about what it's like to have a parrot... even an itty bitty one. Thanks again!
