breeding advice on pacifics

i have a pr. of pacifics that i breed..they were together for 2 yrs before they laid their first clutch..they both are 4 yrs old now..they have not had any more babies since 07..they both have been checked by our vet and are in great condition..is it common for them to go 2 yrs before they have babies? the first time i had actally given up and said oh well..and they had 7 eggs..6 firtile..with alot of work and nervous min. all6 made it..it was alot of fun for me and i as well as my grand daughter who wants to be a bird vet learned so much about hand raising babies from day one!!! is there something maybe i am doing wrong?? they both love where their cage is and are are happy..so i do not want to move them..this time i hope we are going to be lucky..they mate..the last week he has been going and feeding her their egg food i give them daily.i know they say the female will chomp through a cuttle bone in a matter of days but as the last time..it is the male eating it and feeding it to her..she chews on it some but not as much..so you can not always go by what you read..all my babies all have good homes to go to before they are even hatched..i hand feed and tame them for even being use to baths ect..being wrapped in a wash cloth ..anything i can think of .except i found out at 4 weeks they start noticing and being scarred of new paople so next time i want the new parents to be around them more before they go home..sorry so long..i am just so excited we may get more babies this year..ha..

YOu might want to ask your question at Talk Parrotlets - there are some breeders there who might be able to help!
