Smile types of parrolets?

I have a pacific green parrolet right now, and i love her to death, i'm comfrable to know if I move she is easy enough to bring with me, and I know I can get another parrolet and it would be the same, has anyone ever have a green rump parrolet and wants to tell me about them? I think there so adorable, i love small birds.

The Green-rumps are said to be very nice birds, more timid and less assertive than the Pacifics, so they need a little more time and patience to make wonderful pets. The Spectacled are said to be very outgoing but without the assertiveness (or shall we say stubborn streak?) of the Pacifics. The Spectacled also are good talkers for P'lets.

I have a Mexican P'let, and they are not at all common in the U.S. if you could even find one. They are more laid back than the Pacifics, and my Cello is very affectionate with lots of personality. A fun little bird!

I had a male green rump and would get another, if fact i am looking now. He was very sweet. When I moved from a very warm bright house to a very dark and cold house I think it was very hard on him and I think he got a bad cold so I lost him. He was pleanty asstertive but loved most to be right up on my neck. He was smaller than a pacific, but not by much. I kept in in a flight chage and a much smaller canary cage when i went on errands and such. I worked out nicely. I'd be interested to see a picture of a mexican parrotlet. Do they sell them in Mexico and ship them to the US?

Hope you find another nice Green-rump! He sounded like a special bird.

The Mexican P'lets can't be imported into the U.S. because of CITES regulations. And, all the Mexican P'lets for sale here are illegally wild-caught, unfortunately. They are caught in mist nets. They are very difficult to breed in captivity, apparently.

Here's a photo of my Cello, who is the poster bird for Mexican P'lets on the World Parrot Trust site.

Aw, Cello is cute....not as much differance as I would have imagined. OK my teacher self has to pipe in here....
Its PARROTLET not parolet...."Im just sayin" lol. Sorry ...one of my little pet peves, no offense please?
I have been told by many a breeder that Green Rumps are more succeptible to Egg Binding. So get a male for a pet.

Hello I need help please... I have this yellow parrotlet, atleast thats what the breeder claimed while selling her to me for $300. Now that I went through pictures of other parrotlets I am starting to have doubt if she is a parrotlet or a love bird or a budgie or a canarie or what exactly is she? she is a yellow bird with couple white feathers and brown beak I have attached the picture for you to view. Thank you.
