Parrotlet Play Dates?
I was just curious if anybody participates in Parrotlet (or other parrot) play dates? I've seen people mention this on other bird forums and think it's a great idea for other parrotlet owners who live close to each other.
Basically what a "Parrotlet Play Date" means is a couple of people or a group meet at another person's house or designated area and allow their parrotlets to interact with each other. Sort of like a little social gathering of sorts. I think it's an awesome idea to share stories, ideas and such. I live in the Greater Cincinnati Area and would LOVE to get Keno involved in this.

I read a story about play dates to but im not sure how that can work . If when you get a new bird you have to have them in a seprate room and every thing to prevent spread of disease how would you be able to let your birds play with other birds ? Would they get along I my little flock dont even get along with each other most days . Do you know anyone that does it ??

The ones I've seen (or heard of) require the parrotlets to be up to date on their vet visits before playing together. I would assume nobody would bring a sick bird to a play date.
I don't know. It just seemed like a fun idea. Shame I don't know anybody in the area that does this.
