Pair Parrotlets

I have a pair of parrotlet for about 5 months now, but the old owner said that they made some beabies for them. So I brought them home they just go into the nest and stay their but I dont see no eggs. Does anyone know what happen to them thats why they not laying any eggs?

i am going through the same thing with mine right now. moves can be stressful for fids. they need a high protein diet and they have to be happy with where they are moved to. if you keep them in doors, do you have them near a window so that they can get some natural light? i was reading yesterday that older birds sometimes wont mate and if they do, the eggs are sometimes unfertile. how old are your birds? are their perches STURDY so that the male can mount the female? these are just a few of the things breeders have advised me on. i am in no way a professional.

if the perch moves or wiggles it could make it hard for them to breed, or so i've read online. because they have to balance to do "it."
