Little Tweet?

I was wondering if any one had ever bought a parrotlet from them, and how it worked out? I've wanted a parrotlet for a couple of years now, but don't have a breeder anywhere near me. So I am contemplating having one shipped in, but just not sure what place to trust. I really want one that's been properly handfed and tame to start.

I got mine locally in my area and havent heard of Little Tweet, but a lot of times you can find references on their page, or if you email them with questions they SHOULD write you back with all the information you are looking for. Thats always been a sign of a good breeder for me, one that answers all my questions and then some!!

I was looking at the little tweet website too, and they seem to have all of their eggs in a row ( pardon the pun). But that's just from the site, i haven't bought from them. I would like to know if anyone has purchased from that site as well and what their experience was? If anyone has purchased from a breeder that ships and has had a good experience that would probably be helpful too.

I purchased from them back in '04 I believe it was.. When they were located near Orlando, I picked up from their facility, although they had a "closed door" policy on entering their breeding room at the time. From what I could tell, very clean and tidy, extremely friendly staff, who seemed very knowledgeable.

They are also known as Parrotlet Parrots (Parrotlet Breeders | Parrotlets & Breeding Pairs), which redirects you to littletweet.com. They have a lot of videos on YouTube (YouTube - parrotletparrots's Channel)

They have a lot of Valuable information. When I started breeding parrotlets years ago I used them and found everything I learned from them to be Valuable information. I had some email contact as well. I dont breed anymore.

I just find it funny how in their information about parrotlets it says "They cannot scream" my little baby girl does not scream, but she can be LOUD and very HIGHPITCH. I just thought that was funny = )
