Linnie Names

I know that this is not a Linnie forum but I do have a p'let so that counts right? It's just that you have been so helpful in this transition for me and especially Jadie that I didn't want to exclude from the more exciting parts - naming the new Fid (btw where did the word Fid come from?)

If you have any suggestions, whether it be girl or boy, blue, turquoise, green or other colors, it doesn't matter!

I've come up with Jasmine (not sold on it) or Jasper (cute, isn't it?) but anything else to get me inspired, i'd appreciate!

Jadie doesn't know yet - she knows something exciting is in the making. It's cute. She's already happier.

my daughter's friend had a P'let that seemed to really enjoy the linnies when their cages were side by side. We introduced them after they knew each other for months. Everything was fine until the p'let went suddenly for the linnie. We think it was because the p'let's owner was standing nearby and she was protecting her person. Often though linnies and p'lets got along well. I'm mentioning this because you want to be careful it is neutral ground, and since you have the p'let first, make sure she understands she is still first and doesn't feel the need to protect her relationship with you. And go slowly! I love the name Jasmine. Jazz for short, been wanting to name a pet that for a long time but the right one hasn't come along for it to stick. Enjoy your linnie! they are wonderful.

I like the name Herbie. Herbie is a cute "little" birdie name.
