New pics of my Linnie
I know this is the parrotlet forum but since I have Jadie and you guys were so helpful I thought you should be the first to know and see pics of my new little Linnie - so I decided to post here.
Luella is what I named her! She is still freakish but calming down and curious. She knows what my fingers pinched and approaching mean - spray millet! and before bed I got her to eat some out of the palm of my hand, cautiously but she did! Tomorrow I am moving her into her big cage. I hope that she does ok in there. I noticed that silky perches don't work will for her. she keeps sliding off of one and falling because she can't get a grip. those are coming out! I think she'll enjoy the new space. I hope that she lets me approach her with all the added room. She's not yet afraid of new toys so that's good too! Anyways - here are the pics and my new siggy!

Thanks guys! She gets moved to her big cage today after I pick her up a few more perches! Wish me luck and her a calm transition!

She is the most beautiful linnie I have ever laid eyes on! Her name fits her so well. Looks like you'll be her best friend very soon. She just needs a gentle approach. Bravo!!!

Luella was ready to get out of that little cage! I took everything out, including the food, and arranged it in the bigger cage that was right next to her little one so she was used to looking at it. Then I propped her little cage up next to the big open door of the new one and ignored her. It didn't take long and she was in the new one!
She seems happy and is getting used to the new scenery. I'll post pictures when I can! :)
