new baby parrotlet Orchid!

Everyone is so helpful on this board it's great! Wondering if there is anything I need to know about a baby parrotlet it's the green kind kinda split female I guess I will include a pic! She is about 7 weeks old right now I guess and mom plucked her a little (the breeder didn't find the babies until they were about 5 weeks old) because the mother had the egg's in the sleep tent lol! So they were only hand fed for 1 week :( but that's okay I will take my chances I guess. Is there any special hand taming I should work on or diet etc? Also I would LOVE help changing my sigi. I don't have the severe macaw anymore lol and want to add the new baby Orchid! Thanks for all your help!

Give him time and take it slow...I used millet spray as a treat to get mine used to me

as far as your signature, just go to User CP in the red bar on this page above and then to edit signature. It's easy.

Congrats on the new baby! As Powder said above, take it slow. Time and patience are key when taming and training. You got her young so you do have better odds of her bonding to you and taming down. Remember to feed a good varied diet, pellets too if possible. Also parrotlets do GREAT with sprouts. They are very easy and very nutritious - I know mine loves his!
