Hi all Jillie my little blind meyers is doing really well,eating well,vocalizing alot,climbing all over her cage and "plays" with her toys,how ever lately she has been shredding the news paper at the bottom of her cage she just rips it to shreds! I don't mind but is this significant for something??? any clue why she's doing this? thanks

Shredding of paper could be hormonal stuff... otherwise it could just be from pure fun!

It really doesn't matter the number of toys that you have in their cages; Buck goes to each and every cage and shreds the newspaper........... Sassy does the same thing. Not the same species of bird, I know, but I think it is something that they enjoy doing?
