I haven't tried to tame them.
Apparently if they are handraised they will be somewhat tame & friendly. I prefer non tame parrots - especially if I want to breed them because a parrot that is not afraid will not leave a nest box and will vigorously defend their clutch. I have heard of people being very badly bitten because they inspected their pets' nestbox & the bird not being afraid stayed to attack. I am very careful with my personal pet budgie. In the house she is gentle and friendly, in the nestbox she will savage me. |

You mean your 28 male is a hybrid???? I've seen a port lincoln before, and MY are they big! I figured they'd be smaller but I was surprised!
I haven't seen many rosellas here, and a mallee ringneck???? Unheard of! Although, princess parrots are becoming more popular! And such sweet birds! Gorgeous pics! Thanks for sharing!
