Linnies aren't very popular, hardly see any! Of course that's why we have this extra "Parrot" forum for those species that are not represented.

Has anyone here actually got a Linnie as a pet? I love them and would like one as a pet. However all breeders have told me they won't sell as a pet so far :(

I know the petco I work at has a blue linnie and there is a breeder in south texas that sells them for pets (where mine came from). They are such sweet birds> cant imagine why they are not seen more often!

Awww there so cute!

I'm in UK and most petshops can't sell birds now due to the new Animal Welfare Act.

They look quiet? How loud are they? Hubby will only let get another bird if it's quiet as one's we have do his head in lol.
