Great Bill Parrots

Hi! I am new to BirdBoard! I have 2 Great Bills and was wondering if anyone else out there might have any? I would love to talk to people who do. These birds are not too common and there's not much info out there.

They kind of remind me of male eclectus and alexandrian ringnecks! I've ever only seen one, a female, who was being sent from one breeder to another, for a breeding program...

Not popular pets so it would always be great to hear more about them!

They are awesome, the bird store up the street gets them in every spring, their beaks look like little lobster claws. I was just cuddling the new baby the other night.... so sweet. They let me name him ... so I called him "Oliver." They are so cute and sweet. I have always wanted one, they are very pretty and very intelligent. Your birds are beautiful, are they a bonded pair? Thats too funny you are from Virginia Beach... so am I.

I, too, would love to "hear" more about them. The first time I saw a picture of one, I thought of the male eclectus which are some of my favorite birds and the ones I've met all seemed to feel the same way. They are beautiful birds. After I saw a picture of one, I was disappointed by the lack of available information about them.
