My New 28 Parrot - Not Named Yet!

Lucky me, I am now the proud owner of a pair of 28 parrots. They are only young, so there will be no breeding this year, but there is always next year. I need names................any suggestions?

yes, they are a sub-species of the port-lincoln parrot. haha i was just about to write a post asking about anyone who has these wonderful birds. I have seen the mallee ringneck (a close close relative) but not this one in the wild. I preferably like port lincolns, as they re slightly colourfuller, but they are very similar. How big is the aviary??

BEAUTIFUL!

From time to time, one of the local parrot shops will have a Port Lincoln parakeet for sale. Very pretty parrots indeed!

Can't help you with the names... I'm SO bad at hat BehindTheName.com has some interesting ones, though!

The aviary is 2.5m wide, 3m high, and 3.5m deep. Plenty of room in there. They are loving it! They look very happy! Their aviary is the one with the red arrow pointing to it. If you look hard enough you can see them in there.

I called my new chicks Merlock, Sorrel, Malila and Belladonna. I got the last three from my favorite names site- 20000-names.com. It is sooo good! Type in a word (bird, green, air, flying, seeds etc) and it'll come up with names that mean that, or simliar!
