Birds don't get "pregnant". They are like most reptiles in the fact that they lay eggs.... although it doesn't seem as if we have a term for birds "with egg". They normally only form one egg in their body and lay it before forming another... however in some rare instances it is possible for hens to create and store multiple eggs (in which case they normally need to be spayed, so to speak... thus they will no longer be able to produce eggs) within their bodies, it's just a "fatal disease".
I don't suggest breeding them until they are at least a year old, preferrably two years old each.... (this will help ensure that both are mature enough to raise their own young) what is their setup like? Cage? What signs have you been seeing that are different? Diet? Lighting? Amount of lights?

I have two male Princess Parrots. Monica is right about the breeding issue. Where are you located? It is possible she is just moulting and acting a bit oddly? Are you sure about the age? Can you post some pics?

i wouldnt breed her until she is at least a year and a half, prefferably 2. 4 mo is wayyy too young to breed a princess, she just weaned! for the safety of your hen, please dont let them breed until shes older! the younger you try to breed her, the bigger the chance of her getting egg bound!! having babies sooner would be great, but NOT at the expense of your hen's health!! you need to make sure she is finished growing and maturing inside, and mentally as well. 4 mo is far too young, shes still a very young baby. if you have a nestbox up, take it away, dont give them the chance to breed yet. if you arent willing to wait, i suggest buying an older hen and repairing the new, older hen with your 5yr male, just dont let a baby try to breed!
