Birds beg worse than dogs... in my opinion anyway. My Miligold was out the other night and my husband had a bowl of pot roast and veggies. Captain walked the length of the couch, looked at my husband and said "Mmmmm.... that smells good." (Thats what I tell my birds when I feed them.) I didnt know he could say it until that appropriate moment. We had a good laugh.

I agree about the begging. Jezzabelle says Yummy when we have food, if we walk by her she runs over to the edge and leans towards the dish. Any day now I expect her to just fly over when it is dinner time.
It isnt even like she is asking anymore it is more like an expectation.

Groucho is soo cute. And I am sure he is happy that you "gave" him is very own bowl.

Is Groucho a Derbyan or a Moustache Parakeet? They look so much alike, big size difference between the two. Hes beautiful.
