Smile Meyers Parrot

Just wondering who has these beautiful birds and what your experiences with them are?

Any favourite treats? Toys?

I have one in my care at the minute, he's like a little R2D2 bleeping and beeping away, bless him. He's so gorgeous.

I have one,Jillie, she does make the cutest noises, she is blind, her favorite toy has straws sticking out of it she attacks them by sneaking up on it! I guess since she can't see it it can't see her!

Aww, bless her. How come she is blind? This little one was wolf whistling all morning after i uncovered him, hes so cute.

My budgie mikko has a thing for straws too, little monster, he likes playing "human fetch" and seeing how many times me can throw it at me and I'll pick it up to put back in the glass

She has been blind since i got her,the story was that she was shipped from someone in Fla,the original omners we're trying to start a breeding business, she was shipped squeezed in a tiny box with others, she has a deformed foot, may have been injured or born blind.when i got her I thought she may die as she was so "frozen" in place didn't eat or drink she was depressed, sad, scared,I had to hand feed her oatmeal twice a day till she understood I would take care of her,she still has day's that she is out of sorts but she is sooo much better and it was a total joy the ist time she played!
