Step up!!

After 11 months Mackey stepped up when i put my hand in his cage!!!

Then he spent a couple hours on the play stand. He was moving alot and looking around everywhere with his cute little face. Playing with the toys too.

I knew something was changing because when I put my hand into feed he has been honking like crazy. But he quit being scared of my hand in the cage for food a few months ago. So I thought he was maybe trying to tell me something.

This is my little guy who has spent months on the same perch not moving much. Only getting out by towel!!

Now here he is.........I think we are officially over a big hump!!

He is a Pionous Maximilliam (sp?)

Thank you!!! Mackey has been on the playstand the last 3 nights.

He waits for me. But he won't come during the day. Only the evening!! He is very active (for him) moving his head and looking all around!

I swear this bird did almost NO moving for months.

I am so excited cuz it is almost time to go and get him out again!
