White Cap Pionus Language
Good evening!
I've had my white cap, Sage, for about 6 months, and today he's been making a noise I hadn't heard much before. You can listen to it here... (Sorry it's quiet -- it was recorded from across the room.) Click here, then click "Free". He's been making this sound when I play music on my computer. I'm trying to figure out whether it's a happy flocky noise or if he's annoyed by my music. |

That's odd, did you click Free and follow the instructions? (Select a mirror, enter the code, and play the mp3 in any given media player program?)
Anyway, he looks pretty relaxed when he's doing it, so I guess it's ok. Thanks! |

Sorry, I only speak bronze-winged pionus.
I had one 15 years ago, and I miss her so much! We really did have that little language.. where I understood what she was saying, and she understood what I said.. Now I have conures.. sure they're great, but I miss my pi! Hmm.. the audio isn't too great. It kinda sounds like "quiet screeching". But I really can't tell anything. |
