Oh for the love of Pizza Crust!!!

Judy made me one of my special dinners tonight. Because of my food allergies, my wife has to substitute many ingredients making meals for me.
For pizza, it turns out to be almost everything. I have to have a rice flour crust, Soya based imitation cheeses, the single brand of spaghetti sauce I can eat for the pizza sauce, ground beef instead of pepperoni,.... you get the idea.
The pineapple is about the only thing that ISN'T a replacement item.

Well, I know from the last time I had it that Grace liked it. (Oddly enough, she wasn't fond of the regular crust my wife & daughter usually have though). She must recognize when I have it now, because I almost ended up with a Pi in my Pizza as Grace tried to fly from her playset to my arm as I was eating. (Luckily I managed to catch her before she crash landed on my plate.)
I had to rip off a chunk of crust, then set it & her back over to the feeding platform on her cage to get her to stop trying to investigate my dinner.

((If ya notice, there's blue tinge around the edge of her beak. It's from her new Lots-O-Legs toy that you can see in the upper left corner of pic #3. She's chewed both ears and one "arm" off the center wooden blue bear already.))

I just read this post. Grace is so sweet and cute. It's amazing the two of you share a love of the same food, especially with the changes/alterations. (Your version of pizza sounded pretty good to me, though!) She must really love you. It's like it's her way of empathizing with you and your dietary restrictions. She's saying, "It isn't half bad!"

She stands kinda funny. She makes a fist, but leans more on the thigh, and just leaves her fist laying to the side. funny.
