Hey Newf, about Murlin...

As to what I had said in an earlier post about Murlin's age...
I just might be wrong.
My daughter & I went down to the store where we got our WCP to let Grace visit with her brother.
The last time we saw him was roughly 3 weeks ago and at that time he looked very much like Grace; the bright green in the wings, a very short white cap and very little blue in the head & neck...

When we got to the store, there was a WCP in the same cage, but at first glance I though it was a different bird!!
Gracie recognized him though!
WOW what a change!!!!!!!
Now he's almost identical to Murlin!
The point of the "V" in his white cap is past the back of his eyes, his wings are that gorgeous green bronze and his head & neck are that beautiful cobalt blue color with the white throat patch. It boggles my mind to think that he went through such a significant plumage change in such a short period.

So Murlin could very well be the age you were told by the breeder.

My sincere apologies if my earlier post caused any difficulties.

Hey Jim:)

You're post didnt cause any problems, and I did go back and ask the breeder I got him from to look up his paperwork. According to her, he is almost six months old now. She has two more there now that already have almost capped as well, that are a couple of months younger than Murlin. I guess some of them cap earlier than others.

Thanks for posting that information though. I really appreciate it
